With the debut of what is already the tenth generation, the long-standing, best-selling Audi A4 model series is now called the Audi A5³³. The new Audi S5 Saloon¹ combines emotional design with muscular proportions, S-specific elements and a high-performance TFSI engine.

The Audi S5 Saloon¹ is radiant in Ascari blue, metallic². Further visual highlights include the sporty honeycomb structure on the Singleframe as well as the rear spoiler. This not only improves the aerodynamics, but also makes a strong design statement.

The 3.0-litre TFSI engine (Fuel consumption (combined): 7.7–7.4 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions (combined): 175–167 g/km; CO₂ emission class: F) of the Audi S5 Saloon¹ is combined with the highly efficient MHEV plus technology³² with 48V battery as well as quattro all-wheel drive for improved traction.

³²The progressive MHEV plus system based on a 48V electrical system supports conventional TFSI and TDI engines and combines reduced CO₂ emissions with simultaneously enhanced performance. The powertrain generator and an additional 48V lithium iron phosphate battery enable partly electric driving, electric parking and manoeuvring and a significantly increased recuperation performance. This results in reduced fuel consumption and lower CO₂ emissions. The powertrain generator also has a boost function that can temporarily deliver an electrical output of up to 18 kW to the combustion engine. This enables very good acceleration and high agility.
